The Timberland was kind of an homage to my home in Minnesota and also my first attempt with gold leaf on a painting. This piece, I think, does a good job at marrying my instinct to paint a spectrum of colors and keeping to the original color palette of the shoe. This was something I continued with each sneaker after. I love my Timbs.
